October 2

October 2 marks the birth anniversary of two great Indian leaders. One being the most famous Father of the Nation, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi ji and the other equally important 2nd Prime Minister of Independent India & a Gandhian follower Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji. Both were against non-violence & for Gandhiji’s contribution United Nations has declared October 2 as the International Day of Non-violence.

Every year we could see schools celebrating Gandhi Jayanti but this year for a change I felt let’s celebrate both. Thus, here is a worksheet on October 2nd significance. This worksheet majorly covers topics such as literature, visual discrimination, art, craft & history.

This worksheet could be enjoyed by early learners as well as primary school kids. Hope you have a wonderful time exploring the history with our October 2 worksheets.
